A fast-paced AI-assisted slapstick animated series developed for scalable episodic production. The project combines story development, storyboarding, AI workflows, editing, cinematic direction, sound design, and production experimentation to explore the future of animation storytelling.
The series is built using a functioning AI-assisted animation production pipeline focused on storytelling, cinematic direction, editing, consistency, and scalable production workflows. Rather than simply generating visuals, the project explores how AI tools can accelerate animation production while human creativity continues to guide storytelling, timing, emotion, and direction.

Vijay Amarnath, an M.F.A. Visual Communication graduate, is an AI Animation Director, filmmaker, educator, and animation professional exploring the future of AI-assisted episodic animation production.
With over 28+ years of experience in animation, storytelling, filmmaking, and creative education, he has contributed to 100+ commercials, guided 600+ students, and published 50+ children’s art books.
Currently pursuing PhD research in AI Animation, Vijay is developing scalable AI-assisted production workflows that combine story development, storyboarding, editing, cinematic direction, sound design, and fast animation pipelines.
His latest work focuses on producing short episodic AI slapstick animated series through small creative teams using AI-assisted workflows while keeping storytelling, timing, emotion, and creative direction human-driven.
Vijay recently completed multiple 3-minute AI-assisted animated episodes and is currently expanding the production pipeline toward a larger episodic series vision. His work explores how AI can accelerate animation production while maintaining the artistic foundations of storytelling and filmmaking.
His production approach combines traditional animation thinking with modern AI workflows to create faster, scalable, and cinematic animation experiences for the future of entertainment.
